Cycling through valleys, hilly roads and omnipresent nature, reaching cosy meadows located next to the river, climbing uphill, hoping for fully deserved rest, we were discovering local paths. Paths which were leading us to hospitable villages, friendly people and welcoming tent pitches. We left not only comfort of our beds but also our comfort zone with the view to build both tents and our characters or self-confidence.
We were trying to get to charming places, like jaw-dropping view of the Rheinfall Waterfall, The Rhein Stream or Titisee Lake in Black Forest. Catching smiling faces, a handful of good hope and capturing awesome surroundings, we were cycling alongside the banks of the river and gravel paths.
Sometimes we not only lost the track and but also hope to find a place to sleep, but never good fun. It completely didn’t matter, because we were exploring both wild nature and our wild souls, in the unspoiled wilderness, too. Longing for a cool shower or optionally for a cool swimming pool, we were taking part in cool adventure where nothing was clear or expected.
This unplanned trip was shaping our characters and helped us understand different cultures and us. Trying to touch untouched nature, cycling was our way to express ourselves. Our main theme of the trip was „Think outside the box and go over horizon”, so in light bags we carried boxes with nutricious food, and the travel definiteley broadened our horizons.
Passionately, we were following natural paths being okay with wherever we ended up at the end of the day. „Come what may”, I thought many times thinking outside the box.
Why?
Because every travel is another chapter in a fascinating book of life which is still under creation.
Bon voyage..
